Cell Phone Not Charging?
If you've got a cell phone not charging situation, it probably means one of two things:
1. There is a short fuse in your wall charger and it has gone bad.
2. (Most Likely) The charging port (the place on your phone you put the charger in) has wiggled loose.
Unfortunately, neither of those things you can personally fix, however, both problems can be fixed.
Recommendation 1:
If someone else in your household has the same phone as you or you know someone who has the same phone, you can try to plug their wall charger into your phone. If that works, then you know the problem is with your wall charger. If it doesn't work, then the problem is with your cell phone.
Recommendation 2:
If your phone is within the one year warranty period, you can contact your cell phone company and place a warranty claim for your cell phone. They will send you a refurbished phone at no charge (no battery, no sim) and a return mailer. You will need to send your broken phone (no battery, no sim) in within 5-7 days to avoid being charged for it. If your phone is not sim based, you should go to your local retail store to get assistance with backing up your phone numbers.
Recommendation 3:
If the phone is out of warranty or the problem exists with the wall charger then you will need to contact the manufacturer directly.
